The Cove and Kilcreggan Community Green Group and Cove and Kilcreggan Community Council are organising a beach clean in Kilcreggan this weekend.
The clean-up runs from 10.30am until 12.30pm on Sunday, June 23. All those interested in taking part and helping to keep the village shoreline free of marine litter are asked to meet at the Kilcreggan bus shelter.
Bin bags will be provided, courtesy of Argyll and Bute Council, though if you'd like to take part, please bring your own gloves, and litter pickers if you have them.
Waste bags should be returned to the junction of Shore Road and Fort Road for collection later by Argyll and Bute Council.
A spokesperson said: "The most recent beach clean earlier in the year was a huge success, so we hope to keep up the momentum.
"We also aim to start a series of ‘deep cleans’ of problem areas, such as the east side of Kilcreggan Bay – more info on the day!"
