Appointment availability at a Helensburgh doctor's surgery is "drastically reduced" due to staff sickness.
The Millig Practice contacted patients this morning by text message to advise them of the issues they are currently facing.
They have warned that the "high levels of sickness" through the medical practice may affect appointment availability for the rest of the week.
Patients have also been made aware of an ongoing problem with their phone system which is under investigation.
The message said: "Unfortunately we have high levels of sickness in the practice which has drastically reduced our appointment availability today and may also affect appointment availability for the remainder of this week.
"We are also experiencing problems with our phone system. This has been reported and is being investigated.
"Apologies for any inconvenience this has caused and thank you for your patience."
