CHILDREN at a primary school in Helensburgh have welcomed their fully transformed wellbeing hub thanks to the help of businesses and charities.
Hermitage Primary has had their Head to Heart Hub completely renovated with thanks from Rowatt Interiors who provided new carpet and The Paint Shed with painting supplies for free.
Pupils can use the brand new space for wellbeing sessions to express their feelings in a relaxed safe space.
The Naval Children's charity, the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity and The Submarine Family all provided funding to equip the room with brand new furniture, specialised toys and books.
Madeline Paton, health and wellbeing family liaison officer for Hermitage Primary, said: “The children love the room now and enjoy being there more than ever.
"They know that all of this is because our community cares so much about our children and school.
"Our community have given us the same support they gave us with our toast club which is still a free breakfast service in the mornings before school starts.”
"A very big thank you to all who have supported us and here’s to the new term in August and exciting ventures to follow."
