AN 'Old Firm' supporters' match to raise money for two Helensburgh charities is being held in town this weekend.
The 'Helensburgh Old Firm Fans' charity match will see the bitter rivalry between the two clubs and their supporters set aside in aid of two good causes.
The match will take place on Sunday, June 23 at 12 noon on the 4G all-weather surface at Hermitage Academy.
All money raised will be split between the Helensburgh and Lomond Foodbank and SIMBA, which supports parents who have experienced the loss of a baby.
On social media, organisers said: "The main reason though is to try and raise money for two fantastic charities in the Helensburgh and Lomond Foodbank and SIMBA, supporting baby loss.
"These two charities are very dear to our hearts and we hope you can spare some money to help us support the causes.
"The match has been sponsored by Riverhill Helensburgh, who have donated a significant amount to the charities on our behalf. We thank you for the support."
