Helensburgh residents who will not be able to vote in person at the upcoming General Election are being reminded that they can still have their say.
Two alternatives are available for voters who cannot, for any reason, vote on the day of Thursday, July 4.
Residents can apply for a postal vote, but must do so before Tuesday, June 19 at 5pm.
People can also apply for a proxy vote which will allow someone to goes to the polling station to cast your vote for you.
Both parties need to be registered to vote to do this, and proxy votes must be applied for by Wednesday, June 26.
Postal votes and proxy votes can be applied for by visiting www.gov.uk/apply-proxy-vote and www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote respectively.
