THE owners of an award-winning florists in Helensburgh are getting ready to say a fond farewell to the community after three decades in business.
Debbie and David Gough have decided to close Plantation Florist on James Street after over 30 years.
In an announcement they said it was time for "a new chapter in their lives" and that they will "pursue other opportunities".
The shop will close its doors for the final time at the end of June, but the couple are urging customers to snap up bargains on offer before that.
Debbie and David have thanked their dedicated customers and friends for their ongoing support, talent and relationships.
In a statement shared on their Facebook page, they said: "Well we will be closing our doors at Plantation at the end of June. It's time for a new chapter in our lives.
"Working six, sometimes seven, days a week leaves very little time for anything else, and we've been doing this for well over 30 years.
"It's going to be an emotional month but we're looking forward to new opportunities and time to pursue other things.
"Our customers have been amazing, we've done amazing things, met amazing people and most of the time we've had a ball.
"We will have loads of bargains to be had over the next few weeks and look forward to seeing you if you want to say goodbye."
