Run by LiveArgyll’s Active Schools team, children can take part in either football or multi-sport camps.

The football camps are suitable for children in P1 to S1 and take place from Monday, July 1 to Friday, July 5 and from Monday, August 5 to Friday, August 9, with both camps being hosted at Hermitage Academy from 9am to 1pm every day.

The multi-sports camps are suitable for children in P1 to P7 and take place from Monday, July 8 to Friday, July 12 and from Monday, July 22 to Friday, July 26, and both camps are also hosted in Hermitage Academy from 9am to 1pm every day.

A spokesperson from LiveArgyll said: “Get ready for an unforgettable summer with liveArgyll's action-packed holiday camps.

“Designed to keep kids active, entertained, and brimming with excitement, these camps offer a perfect blend of fun and skill-building.

“The holiday camps provide children with the chance to stay active, forge new friendships, and develop essential skills throughout the school holidays.

“Each day promises new adventures and opportunities to learn and grow in a supportive environment.

“Whether your child is a budding athlete or an aspiring footballer, there’s something for everyone.”

The multi-sport camps feature a variety of games such as football, rounders, dodgeball, shinty, badminton, touch rugby, athletics, and basketball.

The football camps offer an opportunity to explore movement skills as well as technical and tactical components through a mix of skills, drills, and games.

In an exciting expansion this summer, the charity is delighted to introduce ASN Play Gym sessions, providing a safe and inclusive space for young people with additional support needs.

These 'stay and play' sessions are designed to help participants stay active and to practise vital skills such as balance, jumping, and coordination while enjoying the fun of gymnastics apparatus.

General tickets for the football camps cost £80, while concession tickets cost £64.

For multi-sport camps, general tickets cost £120 with concessions costing £96.
