A LOCH Lomond nature reserve is inviting people to share their views on a new project.
RSPB Scotland's Loch Lomond nature reserve has plans for an upcoming Nature Discovery Hub project.
Planned to be completed in 2024, it will replace existing ‘low key’ facilities at the site and is part of plans to grow visitor numbers to 26,000 a year.
The latest project will deliver a new sustainable and accessible visitor hub featuring a coffee hut, interpretation space, play area and public toilets.
It will also include office space for ten workers, meeting rooms, a tea area, breakout space and changing room for RSPB Scotland staff.
Paula Baker, site manager at RSPB Scotland Loch Lomond, said: “We are very excited to begin planning development of RSPB Scotland Loch Lomond’s Nature Discovery Hub which will improve visitor experience, invite more people in to enjoy wildlife, and enable staff do more for people and nature.
“Engaging the local community and the groups we work with is an essential part of this process and we are looking forward to speaking with lots of different people to help shape the project.”
Members of the community can now view plans on site at the nature reserve or contact loch.lomond@rspb.org.uk for more information.
People are invited to share their views until Sunday, June 16.
