GLASSES were raised and toasts made aplenty at the weekend as the Helensburgh and Lomond Beer and Gin Festival made its highly-anticipated annual return.

Crowds rocked up to the Helensburgh and Lomond Civic Centre on Friday night, and again throughout the day on Saturday, to sample the huge range of gin, rum, prosecco, cider and of course craft beer supplied by brewers and distillers from across the UK.

And even though there were 59 different beers on offer, organisers made sure to feature local breweries including two lagers from Loch Lomond Brewery in Renton and best sellers from No Limits Brewing in Dumbarton.

And for those who enjoy a different tipple, there were gins from Botanist, Bute, Ellis, Purist, and Tobermory, and incredible food from Bangin’ Pizza, Events Kitchen and more.

It was a super lucky day for organisers Helensburgh Events and Reinvestment Trust (HEART) - formerly known as the Helensburgh Round Table as the sun made a welcome appearance bringing warm weather for people to enjoy their refreshments.
