A popular annual afternoon tea event is returning to Helensburgh in benefit of a vital children’s charity.
The local branch of Save the Children is holding their annual summer afternoon tea on Friday, June 7 at 2pm at Helensburgh Sailing Club.
This year’s speaker is Marilyn Bevan, a former president of the Helensburgh Flower Club and former senior flower arranger at Loch Lomond Golf Club.
The event has been a staple in the town for over twenty years and has allowed locals to enjoy afternoon teas combined with entertaining talks and demonstrations.
Tickets cost £15 and can be purchased by phoning Diana Macintosh on 01436 675767 or 07889 885990.
