A Helensburgh theatre group kicked off their 40th anniversary celebrations with a concert taking audiences on trip down memory lane.
Helensburgh Savoy Musical Theatre Group performed their Mad About Musicals show in the Victoria Halls on Friday, April 26 and Saturday, April 27.
The show featured one song from every show the club has produced since the millennium, alongside a sampling of numbers from the comedy works of Gilbert and Sullivan - which the club was originally founded to produce.
Celebrating the club’s history, the show packed in 33 musical numbers ranging from modern hits to stage classics while there were also several songs themed around showbusiness and magic.
Producer Euan Forrest said: "We're thrilled with how the show came together and the audience response was fantastic.
“We had some unexpected challenges pop up that meant the final month of rehearsals was a huge team effort to pull everything together, but the whole club can be really proud of the show we put on.
"We'd also like to express our thanks to the past members that answered the call and came along to join a segment of our performance, it was great to have some familiar faces back on stage with us again."
The Savoy's next performance will be their annual 'Variety at the Vic' charity fundraiser, which will take place on Friday, May 31 in aid of the Helensburgh Community Hub.
Variety at the Vic will see a range of performers from throughout the Helensburgh and Lomond area take to the stage for 10-minute slots.
The group are also gearing up for this autumn’s big production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast.
A teaser for the show will be performed at Variety at the Vic, with adult principal auditions to be held in mid-June.
Tickets for Variety at the Vic are available now from Destination Helensburgh, or online via www.ticketsource.co.uk/helensburghsavoy.
