A WOMAN was airlifted to hospital after being found seriously injured in Dunoon.
Police officers were called to a property in Queens Court around 6pm on Thursday, May 2 after reports of a seriously injured woman.
The 35-year-old was taken by air ambulance to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Glasgow for treatment.
Her condition is unknown at the time of publishing this article.
Police Scotland have confirmed that a 37-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and enquiries remain ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 37-year-old man has been arrested and charged after a 35-year-old woman was found seriously injured at a property in Queens Court, Dunoon, around 6pm on Thursday, May 2.
“The woman was taken by air ambulance to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment.
“The 37-year-old man is expected to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday, May 6."
