EXCITEMENT is building among Helensburgh's dog lovers as a popular event featuring all things canine friendly gets set to return to Loch Lomond this weekend.
Loch Lomond Shores’ Top Dog event will held on Saturday, May 4 at the shopping and leisure complex in Balloch from 10am to 4pm.
A range of products for your pup will be on sale at a range of market stalls, and there will also be a dog show.
Loch Lomond Shores’ Audrey Calder said: “This event is great fun and it’s a real treat to welcome such a range of gorgeous dogs to Loch Lomond Shores.
“Many of our stores including Sports Direct, Frasers, Catherine Kinloch and Hawkshead welcome well-behaved dogs in-store.
"Café Zest even has a dedicated dog-friendly area within their café so visitors can enjoy time indoors as well as outdoors with their pets.”
Dogs can enter into 11 categories including puppy, veteran, sporting, non-sporting, best rescue, best crossbreed, and an open category for all dogs.
The show will be judged by Crufts judge Deborah Flemming, of Townhead Farm, and each winning entrant will get a rosette and a prize.
