Members of the Royal Navy swapped their normal duties for a day of hard work helping local Girlguiding units.
The team of seven travelled from the Faslane naval base to Girlguiding Dunbartonshire’s Catterburn campsite, near Croftamie, to help get the land ready for the summer.
A total of 18 Girlguiding volunteers from the Dunbartonshire county – which includes Helensburgh, Arrochar and round to Kilcreggan – also gave their time to the effort and provided the naval helpers with plenty of food and a long list of jobs.
The day was organised by Dumbarton Girlguiding leader Sarina Robertson.
She said: “The Navy cleared paths, emptied the wood-shed, and did lots of heavy lifting for us.
“They are planning to come back and help us in the future.
“We are so grateful not only for their help, but also for the support of 18 Girlguiding volunteers who gave up their Sunday to help.
“Our campsite is looking fantastic and we’re ready to welcome Brownies and Guides from across our county for fun-filled holidays.”
Girlguiding is open to girls between the ages of four and 18 and allows them to learn new skills, make friends, and have fun.
