A POPULAR Rod Stewart tribute is set to come and wow the audience in Cove next month.
Performer James Frew will take on the music legend for all Rod fans with promises of the big hits at Cove Burgh Hall on Friday, May 10.
The doors will open at 7.15pm with Simply Rod taking the stage at 8pm.
A Cove Burgh Hall Facebook follower said: “James Frew is simply the best Rod Stewart act out. I’ve seen him about six times – last time in Helensburgh in March last year.”
There is a bar and a raffle on the night, and people are asked not to bring your own bottle to the event.
Before that, composer and harpist Pippa Reid-Foster will make a return home on Saturday, May 4.
Pippa grew up in the village and her performances are always hugely popular with local residents in the village.
This time she’ll play work from her forthcoming album, before a second half of interactive fun called Jukebox The Movies - a wide selection of well-known big hits from the cinema.
Throughout the second half of her performance, the audience can vote for their favourites and Pippa will play those with the most votes.
Doors open at 7pm and the concert starts at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £15 (or £12 for concessions and U18s) or £12.50 for the Simply Rod event.
There will be some tickets available on the night, but people are encouraged to book online in advance to avoid disappointment.
Both gigs are fundraisers for the Cove Burgh Hall charity which helps the board and volunteers to carry on maintaining the facility for the community.
