DETAILS have been revealed of three events taking place in Helensburgh as part of the town’s annual Christian Aid Week fund-raising efforts.
The first is a fun inter-church quiz taking place in the main hall at Helensburgh Parish Church on Saturday, April 27 at 7pm.
Entry is £2.50 per person and all are welcome.
The town’s Christian Aid Grand Fayre will be held in the same church hall on Saturday, May 11 between 10am and 12 noon with entry costing £3 for adults and 50p for children.
The third event in the programme is the town’s annual Christian Aid sponsored swim, being held at Helensburgh Leisure Centre on Thursday, May 16 from 6-8.30pm.
Sponsor forms are available from local schools and from Helensburgh Parish Church. All participants need to be able to swim at least two lengths of the pool without assistance.
