LOCAL musician Pippa Reid-Foster will take to the stage in Cove next month to showcase works from her forthcoming new album.
The composer, performer and teacher, who grew up on the Rosneath peninsula and in Helensburgh, will be at Cove Burgh Hall on Saturday, May 4 for an event the talented harpist is describing as 'A Concert of Two Halves'.
The first half will feature pieces from Pippa's new album, Undercurrents, which is due out in the autumn of this year.
In March the Advertiser reported on Pippa's launch of a crowdfunding campaign to help with the cost of producing the new album.
The second half of the concert will be a 'Juke Box - Pippa at the Movies' format, when you can vote for your favourite film music to be played.
It's sure to be a fun, interactive evening for all ages. Tickets (£15 for adults, £12 for concessions, under 18s and students) are available via Eventbrite at tinyurl.com/pippareidfoster2halves.
You can also pay at the door, subject to availability, but space at the venue is limited so you're being advised to book online in advance if you can.
The concert starts at 7.30pm.
