THERE'S still time - just - to get your entries in for a show of Scotland's best rhododendrons when it comes to Garelochhead next weekend.
The Scottish National Rhododendron Show and exhibition will be held at the Gibson Hall in the village on Saturday, April 27.
The show has been an annual visitor to Garelochhead – pandemic aside – for several years, and always attracts a healthy entry of ‘rhoddies’ from local growers, as well as from members of the Scottish Rhododendron Society from all over the country.
Members and non-members alike are welcome to submit entries to one or more of the 49 classes at this year’s event, while on top of that there's a photographic competition for pictures of rhododendrons, other plants, and animals.
See scottishrhododendronsociety.org.uk/rhododendron-show-page for full details of the show, the classes, and how to submit your entry.
The show is open to the public from 12 noon until 3pm nexy Saturday.
