A TOP food destination in Helensburgh has won a national prize for the second year in a row thanks to its legion of fans.
The Artist Patisserie on Sinclair Street was named Best Luxury Dessert Shop 2024 for Scotland.
It's the second time they took the title from the LUXlife Magazine Restaurant and Bar Awardsm and the family continues to work all hours to produce treats that look and taste stunning.
Co-founder Maddie Militaru told the Advertiser: "I think it's great from the recognition point of view and for the town as well.
"It's nice to feel appreciated. And it does tend to help with people visiting the town."
She said master pâtissiers, parents Gina and Julian, can be working from early morning until midnight to deliver to bold colours and flavours.
The shop opened just before lockdown, but has kept going since from strength to strength.
It was the public vote that delivered the title to the shop for the second year in a row.
They are regularly changing their selection by season and to match celebrations, such as Valentine's Day and Easter.
Afternoon tea is popular, said Maddie, and cheesecake is probably everyone's favourite.
"It's mum and dad that make everything, and there's days when they're here until midnight," she said.
"We really love what we do. So it's worth all the hard work."
