Two Helensburgh Brownies groups joined forces for a fun filled and cosy Easter themed sleepover last weekend.
Aileen Baird and Claire Thomson, leaders of the 2nd and 4th Helensburgh Brownies respectively, planned a weekend of seasonal activities including making Easter bunnies, Easter nest cakes, and Mardi Gras masks.
They were assisted by Bronach Hughes (2nd Helensburgh) and Julie Stevenson (4th Helensburgh) who worked hard to make the weekend a success.
A representative for the Brownies said: “Aileen suggested the sleepover as a way of giving some of the newer Brownies experience of staying away overnight.
“The girls all had a great time and enjoyed watching a film before bedtime and snuggling up in their sleeping bags beside their friends.
“Both units currently have spaces for new Brownies, and we always welcome adult helpers.”
The girls also brought in donations to Helensburgh and Lomond Foodbank as part of the challenge was to help other people.
Helensburgh also has Rainbow, Guide, and Ranger units, with all welcoming new members.
