THE owners of one of the Helensburgh and Lomond area's most spectacular gardens are hosting a guided walk around the venue this weekend.
Mike and Sue Thornley will host a walk around Glenarn in Rhu on Saturday, March 30 at 2pm, meeting at the entrance gate.
The walk will focus on the tree magnolias currently in flower all over the garden and the exotic big leaved hybrid rhododendrons created by the Gibson brothers and unique to Glenarn.
The cost to join the tour is £7.50 per person, with all proceeds going to the Scotland's Gardens Scheme's charities.
To book a place either email masthome@btinternet.com or through the Scotland’s Gardens Scheme website (www.scotlandsgardens.org).
