POLICE in Campbeltown have issued an urgent appeal for information after multiple cases of fire-raising have been reported.
Three wilful fire-raisings within the public toilets on Bolgam Street, Campbeltown were recorded across February and March of this year.
The first occurred between 7.30am and 5.30pm on Wednesday, February 28, while the second and third happened on Monday, March 11, between 12pm and 5.30pm.
Those add to a previous incident in which the toilets were damaged between 7.30am and 5.30pm on Tuesday, February 6.
Constable Sharon Carr said: “It’s vital we find out who is responsible for these incidents, which are extremely reckless and resulted in damage to a public resource.
“This behaviour demonstrates a total disregard for members of the public who use these facilities and the staff who are responsible for cleaning them.
“I’d urge anyone with information to contact us. No matter how significant you believe the information you have is, we want to hear from you.”
