A Helensburgh care home have thanked charitable locals for helping them raise over £100 during a cake sale earlier this month.
Morar Lodge Care Home held the event for Red Nose Day on Friday, March 15 with residents, family members, and staff getting involved in the fun.
Selling treats such as cupcakes, doughnuts, and gingerbread men, the day raised £120 for the Red Nose Day appeal and has left the residents and staff excited to host more fundraising events.
One of the care home’s staff members said: “We raised £120 for the charity and the residents loved it, with families joining in the fun.
“As this was such a success, we hope to do more charity events in the future.”
Last year Morar Lodge Care Home we held a charity walk for Dementia UK and raised £400 for the charity.
