The body of a man has been found in the search for a student from Helensburgh who was last seen on St Patrick's Day.
Law student Nick Fish was reported missing after he was last seen at around 7pm on Sunday, March 17.
He had been attending an event with friends at the Box Hub in Washington Street, Glasgow.
Officers are treating the death as unexplained and say formal identification has yet to take place.
There are believed to be no suspicious circumstances and enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: ”Around 8pm on Monday, March 18, 2024, the body of a man was found in Washington Street, Glasgow as part of searches for missing person Nick Fish.
"Formal identification has yet to take place. His next of kin have been informed.
"The death is being treated as unexplained but not believed to be suspicious.
"Enquiries are ongoing.”
