A Cardross group is inviting locals to their upcoming annual general meeting as members thank residents for their “ongoing support.”
The Friends of Geilston - who are involved in the running of Geilston Garden - are hosting their upcoming meeting at Cardross Golf Club on Monday, March 25 at 7.30pm.
The National Trust for Scotland’s [NTS] regional manager Ian McLelland will give an update on the development of Geilston House and historian Ruth McKechnie will give information on their new ‘memories project.’
A spokesperson for the Friends said: “[We] would like to invite members and interested parties to our Annual General Meeting and Open Meeting to hear about what has been happening in Geilston over the last year and our plans for the 2024 season.
“The strength of support from the local community, and further afield, has always been extremely important to the Friends of Geilston when working with the NTS and your ongoing support is much valued.”
The bar will be open prior to and after the meeting and hot drinks and biscuits will be provided.
Memberships can be taken out and subscription payments can be made during the meeting.
