WE haven't hit Easter yet but planning is already underway for Christmas in Helensburgh.
Winter Festival and Christmas Town organisers are working towards a "Midsummer Magic" event in a few months to prepare for later in the year.
The Midsummer Magic event, on June 22, will include a market, activities and music.
The festive festival will be held on November 30 and December 1 and organisers said the "Penguin Crew" are open to ideas on how to improve the event for 2024.
They said: "We want to hear from anyone who would like to organise something throughout December as part of the Christmas Town Month, be it a concert, panto, festive workshop, Christmas Tree display or something completely different.
"And we are keen too to add new faces to the (very small) Penguin Crew, we need lots more hands on deck to make this, the 12th Winter Festival, the very best ever.
"You can sign up for it all or just to organise something with your own teams and we also need plenty of people to help on the two days of the Winter Festival and the set up and take down, manning the road closures and generally helping things to run as smoothy as possible.
"Anyone with ideas or wanting to join the Penguin Crew, contact chair Gail Broadhurst on chair@helensburghwinterfestival.co.uk.
