PARENTS in Helensburgh are being invited to attend an event in town aimed at helping them support young people through the anxiety and stress of exam season.
The event is taking place in the Cabin at the Drumfork Community Centre at 7pm on Wednesday, March 27.
The session is being run by Forces Children Scotland, with funding from the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust, and is suitable for all parents or guardians of young people sitting exams at any level.
A spokesperson for the organisers said: “Exams have a big say in thaking the next step in pursuing positive futures, from the world of work to further or higher education.
“That’s why it’s important to recognise the signs of anxiety and stress and learn more about how you can support your young person through this period to achieve the best results.”
The event is free but spaces can be reserved by booking through Eventbrite.co.uk - see tinyurl.com/drumforkexamhelp for details.
