A retelling of a real-life murder trial presented by a best-selling author will take place in Cardross.
Writer Mark Bridgeman will present the facts and evidence of a real-life circa 16th-century murder case at Cardross Golf Club where the jury is the audience.
After the verdict is revealed there will be a prize for the winning table followed by a Q&A session with the author.
Mark will be the first author to present one of his books as a 'Trial by Jury' in May at the Cromarty Crime and Thrillers Weekend which is hosted by local people alongside Ian Rankin.
The event will take place on Thursday, March 14 at 7pm.
Tickets cost £5 per person or teams of four will act as a Jury (£20 per team) with an entry sheet displayed in the Cardross Golf Club foyer.
