TWO Helensburgh dancers won top results - and celebrated with a trip to the "magic kingdom".
Olivia Moffat, eight, and 17-year-old Emma Bancks, were in Orlando for the Central Florida Scottish Highland Games recently.
In the Highland dance competition, Olivia won the under 16 years restricted premier Highland dance section and was third runner-up in the championship for 11 and under.
She also was first runner-up in the 11 years premiership.
Both are pupils at the Margaret Rose School of Dance in the town.
Reacting to Olivia's success, instructor Margaret MacInnes said: "This is an amazing achievement for an eight-year-old to dance and win against older girls.
"We are all so proud of how hard she worked during her Christmas holidays to learn all her new steps."
Emma won the 16 and over restricted premier Highland dance section. She was second runner-up in the under 18 championship and second overall in the 16 years and over premiership.
"Emma also worked hard over her Christmas holidays to learn the new steps for 2024," said Margaret.
"This was a fabulous start to the year for the Margaret Rose dancers and I look forward to their success for 2024."
The girls were treated to a day at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando to celebrate their success.
