Members of Rhu and Shandon Church are urging green-fingered locals to help with gardening next month.
Volunteers will assist in clearing the ivy on the church, edging the grass, and hoeing the gravel on Saturday, February 3, from 10am to noon.
Church members are also trying to save the cherry trees on the green.
Tea, coffee, and snacks will be on offer for volunteers and locals who are not part of the congregation are welcome to join.
The event is weather-dependent and may be cancelled or postponed if conditions are not favourable.
