The construction of ramps for the restored skate park on Helensburgh's waterfront is now underway.
Helensburgh Skatepark Project said they are hoping for an April opening in time for warmer weather.
Dumbarton's Unit 23 is carrying out the work after the old ramps - which were removed and kept in storage for years - were not fit for use.
The skate park at the waterfront is considered temporary, but Argyll and Bute Council required bidders to take over the land off West Clyde Street to include space for a facility.
Jackie Hood, of the skate park project, said: "Construction is progressing well on the replacement ramps for the pierhead skate park site.
"The council require the skatepark equipment to be reinstated in its original layout to allow them to discharge the planning conditions for the leisure centre build.
"Chaz Mailey, from Unit 23, working in conjunction with the Helensburgh Skatepark Project, has designed new ramps that will ride and flow better than the original equipment whilst conforming to the council's planning restrictions.
"The first picture is of the transition for the new mini ramp, which is steeper than that of the Unit 23 Hall 1 ramps but mellower than those in Hall 2.
"This should allow the mini-ramp (or half-pipe) to ride well for all levels of users. At the moment we are looking at different options for the final coverings for the ramps.
"We are really excited to see the ramps taking shape and hope to have them in place for the Easter school holidays."
She added: "Although not the ambitious design we were hoping for, these ramps will be a massive improvement on the original equipment and we are looking forward to a busy summer of riding.
"Scooters, BMX, skates, skateboards and mountain bikes will all be welcome at the park. HSP will hold an open day at the start of the season and events throughout the year, so keep an eye out on our Instagram and Facebook pages for further information."
