A COMMUNITY mental health hub in Helensburgh is reminding people that their doors will stay open during a month-long refurbishment.
Jean's Bothy, on the corner of South King Street and East King Street, are undertaking refurbishment works to their cottage in the new year.
Local company DCF are expected to carry out maintenance work, which includes a full rewire, throughout January.
This will mean that their programme will be held at different venues in the community throughout the month.
The project is a partnership between the Argyll and Bute health and social care partnership (HSCP), Enable Scotland, the Ministry of Defence, Helensburgh Community Council (HCC) and Argyll and Bute’s Third Sector Interface (TSI).
Katrina Sayer, Jean's Bothy development manager, said: “We know how important a place like Jean’s Bothy is to our members and particularly at this time of year so we have been able to move our programme out to other venues just for the month of January.
"I would like to thank all those who have been able to offer space, including Helensburgh Community Hub, the Park Pavilion, the Enable office and Helensburgh Parish Church, and also Centre 81 and Drumfork Centre for offering support too.”
