A yellow weather warning across the region is set to remain in place until later today.
The area has been feeling the effects of Storm Pia, with strong winds right across Scotland.
Winds of around 50mph had been expected, as a yellow warning for strong winds was put in place by the Met Office earlier this week.

The warning is due to last until 3pm today, according to the Met Office website.
Anyone travelling on the roads between now and then is being urged to plan ahead with their journey.
Some train services have been disrupted, with some train journeys in the are being slowed down due to the high winds.
Ferries have also been disrupted, with a number of services disrupted as a result.
Police Scotland has also warned people to take care in the conditions.

They added that there has been a report of an HGV on its side closing the Rest and Be Thankful both ways. Diversions are in place via Dalmally.
Police and recovery services are at the scene.
