Guests enjoyed warm drinks, sweet treats, and festive fun at Helensburgh Parish Church’s successful Christmas coffee morning.
Visitors took a warm break from the cold weather on Saturday, December 9 to visit the stalls and have a cuppa at the event in the church hall The Bridge.
Visitors had tea and cake while local businesses and sellers offered goods such as home baking, scarfs, jewellery, and bags while a play area was also set up to make sure children had fun.
The event was held during the Helensburgh Winter Festival which took place in Colquhoun Square.
Helensburgh Parish Church will be hosting their ‘Come and Sing’ Christmas concert on Sunday, December 17 at 7.30pm.
The concert is in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, which has received more than £30,000 from the church since they started their Christmas concerts in 2014.
The church is also holding a Christingle service on Christmas Eve which will be led by Emily Harvey-Cartmell and starts at 5pm.
Attendees are asked to come from 4.30pm to make their Christingle - an orange with sweets and a candle – so they can be lit during the service.
Alternatively, visitors can bring a Christingle made at home.
The church’s Watchnight service takes place at 11.15pm on Christmas Eve and will be followed by a family service at 10.30am on Christmas Day.
