A 46-year-old man has been reported to the procurator fiscal for allegedly failing to provide his name and address to police in Helensburgh.
Police say they were investigating another matter when they had reason to speak to the man to help with their enquiries.
However, he refused to give his name and address when asked to do so.
He was arrested at about 9.40pm on December 2 and was later released when he complied.
