Fashion forward Helensburgh residents and history buffs alike will find plenty of interest in the final talk of the year by a local arts group in town.
The Arts Society Lomond and Argyll [TASLA] will be holding last lecture of 2023 on Tuesday, December 12
Acclaimed London tour guide and keen storyteller Russell Nash will be presenting his talk ‘The Men who Made Menswear.’
He will tell the story of men's tailoring over the past 200 years through the lives of the men who commissioned, created, and wore it.
The lecture will give attendees a chance to see how wider cultural shifts have affected the way that men present themselves.
The talk starts at 10.30am in the Victoria Halls – with coffee available from 10am.
Spaces are free to members of TASLA and £10 for visitors and more information can be found by emailing taslaweb@tasla.org.uk.
