An acclaimed hit film will be screening in Cove as part of a special Christmas event in just two weeks’ time.
The Cove and Kilcreggan Film Society will be showing the 2018 version of A Star is Born the evening of Thursday, December 14 in Cove Burgh Hall.
Starring Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga, the film was a huge box office success and received eight Academy Award nominations – with the movie’s number one song Shallow winning the film an Oscar.
Complimentary mulled wine, mince pies, and popcorn will be on offer to help visitors enjoy the film.
There will also be a raffle and guests are welcome to bring snacks and alcoholic and soft drinks – with glasses and bowls are available in the hall.
Doors open in Cove Burgh Hall at 7.15pm for a 7.45 start with attendees asked to bring their own drinks and snacks.
After going on hiatus in 2020, the society resumed activities last month with the upcoming screening their second activity since restarting.
Admission costs £5 for non-members and tickets can be bought at the door.
There is also a last chance to sign up for a season membership by paying £25 on the night, which grants members free admission to the next seven films.
