Tributes have been paid after the sudden death of a "true Rhu Amateurs great".
The club announced the passing of Eric Wilson, a former Rhu and Dumbarton Accies player, on November 27.
A Rhu spokesperson said: "It is with great sadness that we have learned of the sudden passing of a true Rhu great - Eric Wilson.
"All well as being a stalwart at Dumbarton Accies, we were privileged to have Eric play for our club for a number of years, and he left an everlasting memory for everyone down at Ardenconnel.
"A strong and dedicated family man and one of the nicest guys you could ever hope to meet, Eric will be truly missed by everyone that knew him.
"Everyone at Rhu Amateur Football Club sends our love and condolences to Eric’s wife Trisha, his son Kenny and daughter Shaunice and all his beloved grandchildren."
Commenting on the club's post, Russell Makeham said: "Sad news. Was lucky enough to play with Ecky for a season or two. He’ll be sorely missed by family and friends."
Jerry Packham added: "A true gentleman, always had time for a chat,. My thoughts are with all the Wilson family at this tough time."
Iain Brodie said: "An absolutely great guy and a legend up at the Rhu. He will be missed. RIP Eric."
And Doreen Shields said: "Gutted to hear this sad news. Eric was a great guy. Spent many a great night with him and Trisha. Thinking of all the family at this sad time."
