A NEW competition has launched in search of the best Christmas tree in Helensburgh and Lomond.
Grasshopper Toys are looking for the "most Christmassy Christmas tree" with an opportunity to win a box of treats in time for the big day.
Boss Wendy Hamilton told the Advertiser: "The elves at Grasshopper Toys are feeling so Christmassy this year, they have already put the decorations up and now they want to see what everyone else is doing to bring some sparkle to Christmas 2023!
"They’ve come up with a plan. A competition actually.
"You could win a wonderful Christmas Eve box full of treats to enjoy while you wait for Santa to visit your home."
The tree can be inside or out, and doesn't even have to be a real tree. It can be as creative and unusual as you like.
It could be decorated in your home or with a community or group. It might be one in your residential home or nursing home.
The competition is open until December 17 and the winner will be announced on December 20.
Gail Broadhurst, chair of the Helensburgh Winter Festival, will judge the tree-mendous entries.
To enter, send photos of your tree to the shop's Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/GrasshopperToyShop/ or email orders@grasshoppertoys.co.uk.
