A plush penguin has been spotted travelling around Helensburgh - and young children have been challenged to find him.
Grey Matters - Active Ageing group launched its ‘Where is Percy the Penguin?’ competition on Saturday, November 18 as part of the Helensburgh Winter Festival.
Every day until Saturday, December 2, Percy will pop up at a different shops, restaurants, and businesses which will be posted on the group’s Facebook page.
Primary aged children are invited to write down all 15 locations on a piece of paper and hand in their entries to the Grey Matters Active Ageing Centre on West Princes Street between 12noon and 4pm on Saturday, December 9.
All correct entries will be put into a hat and chosen at random with the winner and two runners up will receiving a prize.
Winners will be announced on the Facebook page at 6pm on Saturday, December 9.
Grey Matters is open to people over the age of 60 living in Helensburgh and Lomond and offers a range of activities and social opportunities.
The group aims to combat loneliness and create a sense of community.
The Helensburgh Winter Festival runs the weekend of December 9 and 10, with a market and activities in the centre of town.
