HELENSBURGH residents are being invited to enjoy a festive musical extravaganza at a local orchestra's annual winter concert.
The Lomond and Clyde Community Orchestra's family-friendly seasonal show will be performed at the Victoria Halls on Saturday, November 25 at 11am, under the baton of conductor Moira Frize-Williams..
The concert programme includes Tony Mason's Christmas Extravaganza, the Allegro from Joseph Bologne's Symphony in G Major, In The Hall Of The Mountain King by Edvard Greig, John Whitney's arrangement of music from The Lord of the Rings, and Bob Cerulli's arrangement of Leroy Anderson's festive favourite, Sleigh Ride.
The concert will be followed by refreshments and a raffle. Entry to the concert is free, but donations to help cover the orchestra's running costs and the hire of the hall will be gratefully received.
