Police are hunting for thieves who stolen from two Helensburgh homes last week.
On November 7, a man described as 20 years old and wearing a black woolly hat, black face covering and black clothing stole from a property in Drumgarve Court, West Argyle Street.
The householder disturbed the suspect at about 6pm before he made off in an unknown direction.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Quigley at Helensburgh police office on 101.
In a separate incident, at 3.40am on November 9, homeowners again disturbed would-be thieves, this time at a home in Suffolk Street.
The suspects stole items and tried to take a motor vehicle from the driveway before they were seen and made off.
Police said they arrested a 27-year-old man in relation to a connected incident.
