Locals have been invited to honour veterans at Helensburgh’s annual Service of Remembrance this weekend.
The service will take place on Remembrance Sunday, November 12, in Hermitage Park’s Memorial Garden.
Members of the public should meet in the garden from 10.20am and should be in place by 10.40am.
If there is poor weather, the service will be held in the nearby Victoria Halls.
After the two-minute silence at 11am, wreaths will be laid at the park’s war memorial.
The West of Scotland Military Wives Choir will perform at the service.
Any veterans wishing to join the short march to the ceremony are welcome and are asked to join the muster at 10.15am in the roadway above the Park Pavilion to march off at 10.30am.
Other invited community groups should also meet at the same place at 10.15am.
