A POPULAR shopping centre in Loch Lomond raised money for a rescue boat by selling calendars.
Loch Lomond Shores were delighted to donate £300 to the Loch Lomond Rescue boat from their 20th anniversary calendar sales last year.
We previously told that the momentous occasion was celebrated in 2022 with the arrival of a new exciting festival Summerfest.
The event saw face painters and Disney princesses at hand to help create a magical atmosphere for young ones with a free Encanto show.
Foodies also enjoyed stalls from Chulo’s Bakes and Ann Davidson Butchers as well as takeaway options from Arran Hog Roast and Wild Venison.
Audrey Calder, from Loch Lomond Shores, said: “The Loch Lomond Rescue Boat is hugely important to the safety of everyone who uses the loch.
"Relying on volunteers and donations, their crew dedicate their time and safety to keeping others safe, so we’re delighted to be able to donate the funds raised through our 20th-anniversary calendar sales.”
People who would like to donate directly to the Loch Lomond Rescue boat can do so through their website at lochlomondrescueboat.org/donate.
