POLICE in Helensburgh have issued descriptions of four 13-year-old girls they want to trace after a village shopkeeper was attacked following a theft from his store.
The four teenagers stole the drink from Cardross Post Office at around 6.25pm on October 21, according to police.
One of the girls has been described as white, heavy build with blonde hair.
She was wearing a pink hooded top and pink or blue knee-length shorts at the time.
The other three girls were described as white, with dark hair, and wearing dark clothing.
Police say the shopkeeper initially managed to stop the group but that he was assaulted before they made their escape.
Police in Helensburgh are now appealing for information to try and track down those responsible.
