Preparations for an upcoming Helensburgh fashion show full of “glamorous models” that aims to raise money for the RNLI are well under way.
All models are now signed up for the annual fashion show organised in aid of the lifeboat charity's Helensburgh branch - with 1921 Hair Salon in Colquhoun Square and makeup artist Zoe Orr providing makeovers on the night.
The event also promises to have surprise special guests and a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses.
Taking place at Helensburgh Sailing Club on Thursday, November 9, this year the fundraising team teamed up with Wilkies to raise money for the station and crew.
Lesley Quirk, the show's organiser and vice chair of the local RNLI's fund-raising committee, said: “This is always a very popular highlight in our events calendar.
“We have a fantastic line up of glamourous models, all volunteers including a couple of surprise appearances on the evening.
“The models will be treated to a makeover kindly provided by 1921 Hair Salon, Kirsten, Julie and Emma and make up by Zoe Orr.
“We have a few sponsors including the Anchor Inn at Garelochhead, Savills, Silvers Marine, the Deli in the Square, and Ardardan Estate.
“Our fabulous raffle prizes have been generously donated by local shops and businesses, and we will also be selling our RNLI Christmas cards. Our DJ Ronnie is back too.”

All proceeds from the event will go towards RNLI Helensburgh with the cash being used to benefit the lifeboat station and support the volunteer crew to save lives at sea.
The 2023 range of RNLI Christmas cards will be on sale at the fashion show and at the organisation’s Charity Christmas Card Sale on Saturday, November 4.
The RNLI was established in 1824 and provides a 24-hour rescue service in the UK and Ireland helmed by volunteer lifeboat crews.
Since they were created, the organisation has saved more than 144,000 lives at sea and provided a source of education on water safety to prevent accidents.
Fashion show tickets cost £15, with the price including pre-show canapés and a glass of wine or soft drink.
Tickets are limited and can be bought in the Wilkies store on Sinclair Street or by messaging the RNLI Helensburgh Facebook page.
