FAMILIES from Helensburgh and beyond headed to Cardross at the weekend for a day of vintage tractors.
A fleet of locally-owned tractors was on display at Ardardan Estate, between Helensburgh and Cardross, on Sunday, October 1.
Visitors had the chance to view the many brilliantly restored tractors on show and hear all about them from their owners, while inquisitive children had a shot in the driver’s seat and enjoyed a tractor and trailer ride.
Despite it being the first show back since 2019, organisers were delighted with how successful the event was.
A spokesperson from Ardadan Estate said: "We welcomed some brilliant tractors down to Ardardan Farm Shop for our first Vintage Tractor Show in a few years.
"We're not quite sure how or why but the weather was oh so kind to us and the sun shone for the majority of the day, making it a great way to re-introduce our Tractor Show on a lucky sunny day in October.
"Thank you so much to everyone who came, supported us and worked so hard on their tractors to get them ready to come along. We admire each and every one.
"We look forward to seeing if we can make a wee plan to get our Tractor Rally back onto our events calendar for the summer months. We're not sure we would get as lucky in October every year."
