A BRAND new series of talks for Helensburgh Flower Club is about to begin - and an award-winning floral artist from Merseyside is coming to town to kick off the new season.
Debbie Davies, from the National Association of Flower Arranging Societies (NAFAS), is a Royal Cheshire Show award winner and regularly travels all over the UK showing off her skills.
Her demonstration, 'Branching Out', will be the focus of the first Helensburgh Flower Club meeting of the new season, taking place on Tuesday, September 12.
A club spokesperson said: "We look forward to seeing everyone again and welcoming anyone that may be looking for a new hobby, has a love of flowers or just curiosity around flower arranging."
Members are reminded that this month is ‘Bring a Friend Free Day’, while tea and coffee will be provided at the meeting.
The event takes place in the Victoria Halls on Sinclair Street and starts at 2pm.
