SAVVY parents and parents-to-be in Helensburgh and Lomond can find top quality baby and toddlers’ clothes, toys and equipment at an event in town this weekend.

The NCT Lomond Nearly New sale will have a huge variety of items on sale on Saturday, September 9.

The event takes place at the Victoria Halls on Sinclair Street from 9.30-11am (9.15am early entry for NCT members).

NCT nearly new sales offer excellent quality used baby and children’s items, including prams, highchairs, play pens, cots as well as maternity clothes and children’s clothes (0-10 years) and shoes, toys, games, puzzles, books, DVDs, etc.

Tamara Brown-Milberg, chair and nearly new sale coordinator of NCT Lomond branch, said: “Lomond has a small but wonderful group of regular volunteers, who ensure that the quality of the goods at our sales is excellent, and shoppers can bag some real baby bargains.

“We host three nearly new sales a year including a toy sale in November, and this event has over 40 families registered as sellers.

"It is also lovely to know whether you are buying, selling or both you can be sure you are helping to support other parents as well as funding NCT’s charitable work.”

Nearly New Sales are open to everyone, and the income generated helps the charity support parents, fund helplines, provide breastfeeding counsellors, train antenatal teachers and offer many more services.
