Dumbarton residents are being invited to join in a 'mindfulness meander' in a popular local garden.
The Friends of Geilston to join mindfulness expert Wendy Alexander in the lovely tranquil Geilston Garden in Cardross for a mindful meander this autumn.
A spokesperson said: "Our busy minds and pace of everyday life often means we forget the beauty around us.
"However, being aware and present in our surroundings, to feel a moment of calm and appreciate the beauty of the garden as summer fades and autumn beckons, can work wonders for our mental and physical wellbeing.
"Walkers will attune our senses to the simple delights of the natural world within the peaceful setting of the garden using various sensory awareness practices and short guided mindfulness meditations."
The walk, on Saturday, October 14 from 10.30-11.30am, is suitable for adults only, and places cost £5. Further information and booking via geilstonfriends.events@gmail.com.
The normal National Trust for Scotland garden entry fee applies, which means admission is free to NTS members - see nts.org.uk for entry fees and membership details.
